Tiger Women's Golf Wraps Up Play at Lady Puerto Rico Classic

San Juan, Puerto Rico - The University of Missouri women's golf team wrapped up play at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic at the Palmas Del Mar in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Saturday. Mizzou finished the tourney in 14th place shooting a final round of 317 as a team with a three-round total of 945. Duke University swept both the individual championship (Kristina Engstrom, -1 : 215) and the team win (+8 : 872).

Mizzou's top individual finisher was senior Elin Ohlsson, who shot her best round of the tourney with a 76 on the final day. She finished the tourney in 38th place with a three-round total of 232.

Sophomore Maria Ohlsson struggled in her final round after putting up two good rounds to open the tournament. After rounds of 76 and 78 on Friday, Ohlsson recorded an 83 to finish the event with a total of 237, good for 50th place.

Freshman Denise Knaebel (64th, 78-82-82=242), freshman Kelli Strubinger (65th, 81-77-86=244) and junior Mindy Bullard (86-83-76=245) rounded out the Tiger scoring in the two-day event.
