COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Stacy Stephens scored 18 points and Tai Dillard added 17 points to lead No. 20 Texas to a 70-59 victory over Missouri on Saturday.
After Missouri's Cherice Mack tied the score at 52 with 3:36 left, Texas went on an 8-0 to take a 62-53 lead and converted eight of 10 free throws down the stretch.
Stephens shot just 5-for-14, but made all eight of her free throw attempts for 18 points and finished with seven rebounds. Jamie Carey added 14 points and Kala Bowers scored 10 for Texas (9-4, 2-0 Big 12).
Kerensa Barr shot 7-for-8 from the line finished with 14 points for Missouri (6-7, 0-2), which committed 20 turnovers.
Missouri made 12-of-16 free throws in the first half and led 30-28 at halftime.
Evan Unrau and Stretch James were 4-for-4 from the free-throw line for Missouri, which capitalized on nine first-half turnovers by Texas.
