
Missouri Stands Tied for Eighth at Indiana Invitational

The Missouri women's golf team stands in a tie for eighth place after day one of the Indiana Invitational at the Indiana University Golf Course in Bloomington, Ind. The Tigers recorded a two round total of 642 on Saturday placing them in a tie with Iowa.
Junior Elin Ohlsson leads the Tigers individually after shooting rounds of 76 and 81 on Saturday. She is currently tied for 20th place. Senior Nisha Sadekar turned in rounds of 82 and 78, placing her in a tie for 30th.
Freshman Maria Ohlsson is tied for 33rd place with a two round total of 161 (80-81), sophomore Tara Jacobsen is tied for 48th place after recording a two round total of 164 (81-83) and freshman Mindy Bullard had rounds of 83 and 87, placing her in a tie for 71st.
"We really played well," Missouri Coach Stephanie Cooper said. "We just couldn't get the putts to fall and we couldn't make birdies when we needed to. Elin played well. She really has been playing well lately."
The final round of the Indiana Invitational will tee off tomorrow morning at 9 a.m.
