
Tiger Women in Eighth at Baylor Shootout

The University of Missouri women's golf team is tied for eighth place after day one of the Baylor-Tapatio Springs Shootout at the Tapatio Springs Resort in Boerne, Texas. The Tigers shot a round of 323 on Thursday. The final eighteen holes will be played on Friday.
Three MU golfers carded first round scores of 80 to lead Mizzou. Junior Elin Ohlsson, senior Nisha Sadekar and freshman Maria Ohlsson are tied with nine other golfers for 32nd place. Sophomore Tara Jacobson shot an 83 on Thursday, placing her in a tie for 51st.
Freshman Mindy Bullard shot a first round 92 and freshman Jesse Reinhold finished with a 94.
Tulane leads in the overall team standings after shooting a first round 304. Eleven of the 20 teams in the tournament are currently ranked among the nation's top 70 teams including Missouri at No. 55.
The final round of the Baylor-Tapatio Springs Shootout will begin on Friday at 7:30 a.m.
