Springfield and Southwest Missouri Cable Providers Added to Missouri-Nebraska Pay-Per-View Offering

Oct. 10, 2002

Columbia, Mo. - The city of Springfield, Mo., and the southwest Missouri region will be able to receive the Missouri-Nebraska football game this Saturday, as part of the pay-per-view offering. Cable providers have been added in those areas, as announced today.

Big 12 Special Order Sports, Fox Sports Net's pay-per-view division, will produce and distribute the game. Retail price is $29.95. Kickoff is 11:30 AM CT from Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Neb.

The game is being televised on pay-per-view because it was not selected for over-the-air broadcast or cable television coverage. Under conference TV rules, games not picked up for regular television distribution can only be televised pay-per-view.
