"We're pleased that FOX Sports Midwest has stepped up its relationship with Mizzou Athletics," said Mike Behymer, general manager of Mizzou Sports Properties. "The men's and women's games being cleared by them greatly enhances the Mizzou Sports Network's television presence throughout the state. Thousands of additional Tiger fans will now be able to enjoy Tiger basketball on television."
Missouri's contests at the Hearnes Center against Saint Louis (Sunday, Jan. 5, at 3 p.m.), Nebraska (Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 7 p.m.) and Kansas (Saturday, Mar. 1, at 6 p.m.) will all be televised by MSN statewide. The tipoff times for the SLU and Kansas games have changed from the schedule originally released last month to accommodate television.
The MSN trio of games brings to five the total number of regular-season television exposures for the Tigers this season. FOX Sports Net will televise Mizzou's home tilt with Colorado nationwide on Sunday, Feb. 2, as well as the Tigers' first matchup with Kansas in Lawrence on Saturday, Feb. 15.
The Tigers, under fifth-year Head Coach Cindy Stein, are continuing preseason strength and conditioning workouts in preparation for their first official practice next Saturday, Oct. 12.
