Columbia, Mo. - University of Missouri senior Mark McBride and sophomore Brandon Knaub have been named to the 2002 All-Central Region Team.
"They are both very deserving of this award," MU coach Tim Robyn said. "It is nice to see these post season awards come as a result of the effort that each of them put into their game."
McBride, a two-time Missouri State Amateur Champion, finished his career at Missouri by placing 65th at this year's NCAA Championships. His average of 73.04 strokes per round led the Tigers last spring. Knaub had the best finish for the Tigers at the NCAA Championships this season, placing 50th overall. He was close behind McBride with a stroke average of 73.36 for the spring.
