Missouri Track & Field's Ann Marie Brooks has been selected as one of ten athletes to make the Verizon Academic District VII Women's Track and Field First-Team.

Brooks has a cummulative grade point average of 4.01 and is a four-time All-American in track and cross country. Brooks will compete at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 5,000-meter run and has a provisional mark in the 1500m.

Brooks was a Verizon Academic All-American last year, a five-time Academic All-American and is a two-time GTE Academic All-District selection as a Tiger.
