LAWRENCE, Kan. - Missouri's Mick Weiss had four hits in both games as Missouri swept Kansas in Sunday's Big 12 Conference baseball games between the two schools at Hoglund Ballpark. Here's a recap of each game.

Game One - Missouri 16, Kansas 10
After Kansas scored three runs in the first inning, Missouri erupted for seven runs in its half of the second. W.T. Hoover hit a three-run home run to left-center field, his first round-tripper of the season, to give MU a 6-3 lead. Laskowski homered to right-center to give MU a 7-3 edge.

Laskowski hit another solo home run in the fourth inning to give MU an 8-3 lead. Missouri opened a 10-4 lead before Kansas rallied with five runs in the sixth. Hoover had a two-run single in the sixth inning to give the Tigers a 13-9 lead. Hoover's five RBI set a personal best for the senior from Brookfield, Mo.

Jody Roughton got a two-out, two-run single in the eighth inning to give Missouri a 16-10 lead. Roughton and Laskowski each drove in three runs.

Mick Wesss and Laskowski each had four hits. Tingler, who scored a season-best four runs, had two hits as did Hoover, Ehlers and Roughton.

Garrett Broshuis picked up the win, his third of the season.

Game Two - Missouri 14, Kansas 4
Missouri opened the game with a five-run inning. Tingler led off the inning with a single. Tingler scored on a double play before Laskowski reached on an error. Roughton hit a two-run home run to right to make it 3-0. Weiss doubled before Luke Cassis and Chris Julo each walked. Weiss scored on a wild pitch before Brent Lacy singled to score Cassis and give MU a 5-0 lead.

After Kansas scored a pair of runs in its half of the third inning, Missouri responded with another five-run inning. Missouri loaded the bases with one out before Roughton drove in Hoover with a single. Weiss then hit a grand slam over the right-center field wall to give MU a 10-2 edge.

The teams traded runs over the next three innings. KU scored a run in its half of the fourth and sixth innings while the Tigers scored a run in each of the fifth and seventh innings. The Tigers plated two runs in the eighth to win by the 10-run mercy rule, 14-4.

Weiss had four hits, three of them doubles.

Justin James pitched all eight innings for the Tigers, winning his second game of the season.

Missouri improves to 19-19 overall and 7-10 in Big 12 play. The Tigers will play Saint Louis on Tuesday at T.R. Hughes Ballpark in O'Fallon, Mo.
