The University of Missouri women's tennis team defeated Wichita State 6-1 on Friday at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex in Wichita, Kan.

The Tigers won all three of the doubles matches to claim the doubles point, then won five of six matches in singles play. Missouri is now 8-8 on the year and will take on Kansas in Lawrence, Kan. Saturday at 1 p.m. The Tigers will then travel to Manhattan, Kan. to face Kansas State on Sunday.
