Post-Season Honors Continue for Men's Basketball

Columbia, Mo. - The awards keep rolling in for the Missouri men's basketball team, as junior forward Kareem Rush was named today to the United States Basketball Writers' Association (USBWA) All-District 6 Team. Rush was one of 10 players from the states of Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota selected to the team.

Additionally, on Monday of this week, several Missouri players received recognition from Big 12 Conference writers. Rush was selected to the All-Big 12 First Team for the second straight year, while senior guard Clarence Gilbert was named Third Team All-Big 12. Sophomore Rickey Paulding was selected to the league's All-Underrated squad, while classmate Arthur Johnson was tabbed to the All-Defensive team.
