Freshman Brandon Goebbert and junior Knut Sommerfeldt have completed one day of events in the College Station Multis. Sommerfeldt is competing in the gold division of the decathlon and Goebbert is in the silver division. Sommerfeldt has 3,577 points and is in 17th place. Goebbert is in 12th place in the silver division with 3,347 points.
The second and final day of the decathlon and heptathlon is Friday, March 15.
