Men's Basketball NCAA Ticket Information

Columbia, Mo. - The University of Missouri men's basketball team has been selected to play in the 2002 NCAA Tournament, marking the 4th consecutive year that Mizzou has received a bid. Missouri (21-11 overall) was awarded a number 12 seed in the West Regional, and will face 5th-seeded Miami, Fla. (24-7) Thursday in Albuquerque, N.M.

The winner will face either 4th-seeded Ohio State (23-7) or 13th-seeded Davidson (21-9) on Saturday. Game times will not be announced by CBS until either late tonight or by midday Monday.

The University of Missouri has blocks of tickets set aside for students, donors and general public interested in attending the games. Ticket prices are $35 per ticket per session, and tickets must be purchased for both Thursday and Saturday sessions.

Tiger Scholarship Fund contributors may arrange for tickets by calling (573-882-0704), while students and general public may contact the MU Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-CAT-PAWS (884-PAWS in Columbia). Both offices will be open at 8 a.m. Monday.

Additionally, approximately 3,000 all-session tickets remain available for all public, and those are available through the University of New Mexico by calling (505-925-5626) or by ordering online at www.tickets.com. Tickets are $105 for all session packages.
