COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Missouri baseball team and Youngstown State fought the elements for three innings Friday in non-conference action at Taylor Stadium/Simmons Field. However, Mother Nature was the ultimate winner as the game was called after three innings of play and the score tied, 2-2.

No statistics count from Friday's contest as it was not an official game.

The teams still hope to get in the series later this weekend. Saturday's contest is scheduled for 2 p.m. but that time might change due to the weather.
