Columbia, Mo. - At the request of Western Michigan University, the University of Missouri has allowed Western Michigan out of the currently scheduled Sept. 21, 2002 football game in Columbia due to a scheduling conflict. The two schools will meet at a future date.
The Tigers have replaced Western Michigan with Troy State University. The Missouri-Troy State game will be played at Memorial Stadium in Columbia on Saturday, Sept. 28. The Sept. 21 date will now be a bye week for Missouri.
