
Tigers Erupt For 10-1 Victory

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico - The University of Missouri baseball team scored 10 runs for the second time in three games as the Tigers recorded a 10-1 win over Nevada-Las Vegas Friday during action of the Applebee's Baseball Fiesta at the Albuquerque Sports Stadium.
Missouri, 2-1-1, got hits from nine different players in the win. W.T. Hoover, who had two hits in the game, got things started with a bunt single. Hoover came around to score on a single by Kevin Henry. Mick Weiss also had two hits for MU.
The Tigers got doubles from Weiss, Ryan Stegall and Brian Desch while Jayce Tingler, Jon Williams and Wes Fewell each hit triples.
Drew Endicott allowed five hits in his seven innings to pick up the win. He struck out five batters. Garrett Bauer and Shaun Marcum each pitched one inning in relief.
Missouri will meet New Mexico Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
