The University of Missouri doubles team of Urska Juric and Katka Sevcikova fell to the Kentucky doubles team of Carolina Mayorga and Sarah Witten 9-7 in the first round of the 2001 Omni Hotels National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships.

The national tourmament, held outside Dallas, Texas, is comprised of the sixteen regional champions from around the nation. Juric and Sevcikova advanced to Dallas by winning the Central Region Championship in Tulsa, Okla. two weeks ago.

Thursday's loss is only the fourth lost the duo has had this fall as they finish the fall season with a very impressive 17-4 record.
