
Kareem Rush Named Big 12 Player of the Week

Dallas, Texas - Missouri junior Kareem Rush has averaged 19.6 points and seven rebounds in the Tigers' 5-0 start and has been named the first Phillips 66 Big 12 Player of the Week for the 2001-02 season.
Rush, who has played the last three games with a broken nose suffered against Alabama, has posted two 20-point games with 28 against Tennessee-Martin in the season opener and 24 against Xavier.
The Kansas City, Mo., forward notched his first double-double of the season with 24 points and 12 rebounds versus Xavier in the John R. Wooden Tradition game in Indianapolis last weekend.
The Phillips 66 Big 12 Player of the Week is voted on by a panel of media who cover Big 12 men's basketball.
