Stanford, Calif. - The University of Missouri men's golf team shot a team round of 292 Saturday at Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, Calif., and slipped three spots to 11th place in the team standings at The Nelson. Tim Robyn's Tigers stood eighth after Friday's opening round, just six shots back of first round leader Florida Southern, but they couldn't make a move up the team standings, as just one Tiger improved his score in the second round. Despite that, MU is just nine shots out of fifth place with Sunday's final yet to take place.

Individually, senior Mark McBride jumped 12 spots up the leaderboard after Saturday's one-under par 70 left him tied for 13th place. His two-round total of 141 puts him within striking distance of the overall lead, at 137.

Sophomore Mike Radek was just two shots off his Friday score, but Saturday's one-over 72 dropped him 10 spots in the individual standings. His two-round total of 142 leaves him tied for 22nd heading into Sunday's final round.

Junior Chris Happ continued his steady play, with a second-round 74. He stood 42nd after an opening-round 73 on Friday, and enters Sunday's final 18 holes in a tie for 51st place with a two-round total of 147.

Sophomore Brandon Knaub slipped from 25th to 58th place individually Saturday, after a seven-over par 78. He opened tournament play with an even-par 71 Friday. Freshman Ben Scott shot a five-over 76 Saturday and stands tied for 62nd overall with a two-round total of 150.
