Women's Golf Tied for Fourth at Alabama Tournament

Brockwood, Ala. - The University of Missouri women's golf team held its ground Saturday, and stayed in fourth place at the Alabama Capstone Intercollegiate, held at the Capstone Club in Brookwood, Ala. The Tigers shot a team round of 325 in Saturday's second round, and stand fourth with a two-day score of 659. Tennessee leads the 17-team field through two rounds, with a team score of 644. The tournament wraps up Sunday with 18 holes of play.
Tiger junior Elin Ohlsson is tied for third place individually heading into Sunday's final round after carding a seven-over par 79 on Saturday. Her two-round total of 157 has her just three shots out of the lead.
Senior Nisha Sadekar moved up to fifth on the leaderboard after a six-over 78 Saturday. Her two-round total of 158 is just one behind Ohlsson, and four off the overall pace.
Freshman Mindy Bullard shot an 82 in the second round, improving by six strokes from Friday's opening round, and is now tied for 39th place with a two-round total of 170. Sophomore Annie Schlosser is tied for 51st place after rounds of 88 and 86, for a total of 174. Freshman Maria Ohlsson improved by nine strokes to shoot a 91 on Saturday, and is alone in 88th place wiht a two-round score of 191.
