COLUMBIA, Mo. - Josiah Holst hit a two-run double in the second inning and Drew Endicott scattered four hits over seven innings to lead Bushwood (MU Black) to a 3-1 victory over the Gypsies (MU Gold) Sunday afternoon at Taylor Stadium/Simmons Field in game three of the Fall World Series. Bushwood has won the past two games and now leads the series two games to one.

Holst, a freshman outfielder from Independence, hit a two-out double to center to score Brent Lacy (Fr., Ellisville, Mo.) and Tony Vitello (Sr., Florissant, Mo.) in the second inning. Lacy reached earlier in the frame on a single while Vitello walked.

Endicott, a junior pitcher from Carthage, struck out three batters in seven innings, allowing the Gypsies their lone run in the seventh inning. Derek Roper (So., Elk City, Okla.) pitched two scoreless innings and recorded the save.

Bushwood's Jayce Tingler (Jr., Smithville, Mo.) had two hits as did teammates Felipe Tetelboin (So., Van Nuys, Calif.) and Cody Ehlers (So., Stillwater, Okla.).

Game four of the series will be Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Game five will be played Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
