Columbia, Mo.-The University of Missouri women's soccer team invites members of the media to its annual Media Day Sat., Aug. 25, directly following the preseason Alumni Game.

The 2001 Tigers face a squad of returning athletes at 7:00 p.m., at Audrey J. Walton Soccer Complex. Interviews will be conducted directly following the game at the centerfield tent. All media personnel wishing to attend the event please contact Whitney Vernieuw, assistant director of media relations at (573) 882-2531.

Individuals wishing to request season credentials, please submit a written request via fax or email. Faxed requests can be sent to (573) 882-4720 and email requests can be sent to VernieuwW@missouri.edu. Press credentials requested in advance will be available for pick up on Media Day. All other credentials will be mailed or available on future game days.
