Columbia, Mo. - Football fans in Joplin can get a jumpstart to the season and a discount on season tickets during an upcoming event in conjunction with KXDG "The Dog."

Season tickets can be purchased for $110 each on August 11 at Northpark Mall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. During the two-hour event, fans can see Missouri's Golden Girls, Cheerleaders, Missouri mascot Truman the Tiger and the Helmet Car. Free pictures will also be available and the Tiger Team Store will be on site to sell the latest Mizzou merchandise.
