COLUMBIA, Mo. - The freshman doubles team of Jessica Ferguson and Urska Juric finished the 2001 season ranked eighth in the NCAA Central Region. It is the highest ranked doubles team ever for the Tigers.

Ferguson is also ranked 12th in the region in singles play and she is the second-highest ranked American player in the region. Eight of the players ranked ahead of Ferguson are seniors which means Ferguson could potentially be ranked as high as fourth going into the 2001-2002 season.

As a team the Tigers finished 14th in the region.
