COLUMBIA, Mo. - Seniors Ashley Wysong and Espen Strindeberg and junior Ann Marie Brooks were named to the Verizon Academic All-District Seven Team announced May 21.

Wysong, a native of Nevada, Mo., came in fourth in the 800m at the Big 12 Conference Championships last week. She is a six-time All-American and has already been accepted to the University of Missouri Medical School.

Strindeberg, a native of Drammen, Norway, is a five-time All-Big 12 performer in the multi-events. He is also a four-time Academic All-Big 12 honoree. He is currently a graduate student pursing a degree in finance.

Brooks is coming off a successful run at the Big 12 Conference Championships that saw her win the 5000m and place fourth in the 1500m. She is a five-time All-Big 12 team member and currently holds a 4.0 grade point average.
