COLUMBIA, Mo. -- University of Missouri head baseball coach Tim Jamieson announced following Friday's practice that Jon Harris has been dismissed from the team for violation of team policy.

Harris, a senior right-handed pitcher, had a 3-0 record with a 3.51 earned-run average this season while appearing in 11 games. Harris, from Kansas City, transferred to Missouri after spending two years at Maple Woods CC.

Missouri, 28-20-1 this season, will play Eastern Kentucky in a non-conference series this weekend at Taylor Stadium/Simmons Field. The games will be:
*Saturday, 2 p.m.
*Saturday, 7 p.m.
*Sunday, 2 p.m.
