COLUMBIA, Mo.- The Missouri women's swimming and diving team had eight swimmers named first team Academic All-Big 12, the conference office announced on Tuesday afternoon. Only Iowa State had more first team members with 11. Kansas, Nebraska and Texas each had seven first team honorees. Texas A&M had five first team members.

Heading the list for the Tigers is senior captain KIM LAMBERT who was named first team Academic All-Big 12 for the third straight year. Lambert will graduate this spring with a degree in communications.

Fellow senior KRISTY WANNER, who was named the Big 12 Female Diver of the Month earlier in the day, was one of two student-athletes in the Big 12 to earn a 4.0 GPA.

Other first team members for Missouri are: Tiffany Bohon, So., Katy Chandler, So., Ellen Cross, So., Leslie Hoh, So., Sarah Stowe, So. and Molly Vetter, Jr. Junior diver Erin Wilke was named to the second team.
