COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The University of Missouri heads to the state of Texas for four matches this weekend. The Tigers meet Southwest Texas State and Texas-Pan American Friday in San Marcos. MU heads to Waco Saturday to take on Baylor in Big 12 Conference play before visiting Lubbock Sunday for a match against Texas Tech.

Recent Action: The Tigers started the 2001 season with three wins. MU defeated Pittsburgh and Duquesne by 7-0 scores and West Virginia by a 6-1 decision.

Head Coach: The Tigers are under the direction of Blake Starkey who is in his fourth season. Starkey, an 1989 Eastern Kentucky graduate, was an assistant coach at Maryland before taking the MU position.
