Columbia, Mo. -- The University of Missouri will open the 2001 season with three matches this weekend in Pittsburgh, Pa.
The Tigers will play two matches Saturday. MU first faces the University of Pittsburgh at 9 a.m. before taking on West Virginia at 4 p.m. On Sunday, Mizzou meets Duquesne (Pa.) at 9 a.m.
MU head coach Blake Starkey has been pleased with the team's practice sessions and is looking forward to starting the season. Starkey, a 1989 graduate of Eastern Kentucky, is in his fourth season at Missouri.
Probable lineup: Missouri will be taking all eight players to Pennsylvania for these matches and the lineups might change with each dual.
