COLUMBIA, MO. -- Ryan Pickett drove in five runs and Jayce Tingler and Mike Rallo each had three hits as the Missouri Tigers won their second straight game, 13-0 over Western Illinois at Taylor Stadium.
Ralph McCasland allowed only four hits in six innings to earn his first victory (1-1). He struck out seven Leatherneck batters and walked no one. Jon Harris pitched the final inning as the game was halted on the 12-rule.
Pickett went 2-for-3 and hit his second home run of the season. Tingler was 3-for-4 while Rallo was 3-for-3.
Missouri (7-5) and Western Illinois (1-6) will close out their two-game series on Wednesday afternoon at Taylor Stadium at 3 p.m.
