Columbia, Mo. - University of Missouri Men's Basketball Coach Quin Snyder announced today that junior center Pat Schumacher has left the Tiger Basketball program, and will transfer from the University at the end of the current semester.

"Pat is a solid young man who wants to go somewhere where he'll have a better opportunity to contribute," said Snyder. "We certainly understand his decision and we wish him the very best," he said.

Schumacher, a 6-foot-11 native of St. Louis, Mo., played in MU's season opener Nov. 17th vs. Savannah State, when he scored two points and added two rebounds in three minutes of action. He played in 25 games a year ago, averaging 1.6 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.
