Columbia, Mo. - All-American soccer player NIKKI THOLE has been selected for membership in the QEBH Honor Society at the University of Missouri. The prestigious QEBH recognizes selected individuals on campus for their accomplishments which promote the University of Missouri.
After a 1999 season in which she scored a school-record 23 goals, Thole became the first MU All-American soccer player when the National Soccer Coaches Association of America tabbed her for its All-America Second Team. Following that award, Thole received All-American recognition from Soccer Buzz and College Soccer Online and was also named the Central Region Offensive Player of the Year by Soccer Buzz.
Thole is a two-time First Team All-Big 12 Conference and All-Big 12 Tournament Team selection. She is the Missouri all-time leading goal scorer with 51 goals and point scorer with 122 points.
Thole, a St. Louis, Mo. native, is an art education major and is the daughter of Noi and Ralph Thole. She is a graduate of Lindbergh High School in St. Louis.
