Colorado Springs, Colo. - -Jackie Adamec, senior goalkeeper from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo., was selected by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a 2000 NSCA All-American Athlete. The nomination was submitted by Strength and Conditioning Coach Sara Gonzales.

This prestigious award program recognizes male and female athletes who have excelled in their strength training and conditioning. Selections are also based on community involvement, academic achievement and leadership qualities.

A two-time captain, Adamec started every game for Missouri in 1999 in goal as the Tigers advanced to the NCAA Tournament in just the program's fourth season.
