Men's Basketball Picks Up A Big Road Win

WACO, Texas (AP) - Keyon Dooling scored 16 points and was one of four Missouri players to finish in double digits in a 74-72 victory over Baylor Tuesday night.

The Tigers (10-6, 3-1 Big 12) had a comfortable 37-27 lead at halftime. But the Bears pulled close in the second half, making 50 percent of their shots from the field and 84 percent from the free-throw line to outscore Missouri 45-37.

Dooling also went 7-of-8 from the free-throw line and led all players with seven assists.

Also scoring in double figures for Missouri were Jeff Hafer and Clarence Gilbert with 15 points apiece. Tajudeen Soyoye had a double-double with 14 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.

Tevis Stukes led the Bears (9-6, 0-4) with 22 points and went 9-of-10 from the free-throw line. DeMarcus Minor finished with 21 points and Terry Black added 13. Jamie Kendrick led the team in rebounds with 10.
