COLUMBIA, Mo.- The Missouri Tigers (11-2, 1-1) used a Big 12 record 68 rebounds to propel them to a 78-44 win over Baylor (5-7, 0-2) at the Hearnes Center in Columbia on Saturday afternoon. Missouri held the Lady Bears to just 27.9 percent shooting while the Tigers attempted 91 shots from the field, also a Big 12 record.

Missouri led in the first half by a score of 31-22 at the 2:46 mark, and then proceeded to score the final 10 points of the half to take a 41-22 lead at halftime. The Tigers recorded 32 offensive rebounds in the game, 19 of them in the second half. Point guard Natalie Bright led Missouri with a career-high 10 rebounds (6 offensive).

Amanda Lassiter and Julie Helm paced Missouri with 14 points each. Lassiter added 9 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 blocked shots. Helm chalked up 8 rebounds while dishing out 5 assists.

Baylor was led by Hilary Akromis with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

The Tigers are off until next Saturday when they take on the Texas Longhorns in Austin, Texas.
