In game one, the Tigers tallied six runs in the first two innings against JSU's Sammy Button (2-4). After a leadoff single by Mike Ketelsen in the first inning, J.R. Warner (4-for-5, 2 RBI) clubbed his second home run in two days over the right field wall to give Mizzou a 2-0 lead. Mitch Kiler later doubled in two more Missouri runs in the frame to take a 4-0 advantage. The Tigers got RBI from Aaron Wilson (2-for-3, 3 RBI) and Ryan Stegall in the second inning making 6-0 Missouri.
