Lindsey Miller Named GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-American

Columbia, Mo. - Missouri, all-Big 12 triple jumper Lindsey Miller has been named to the GTE Academic All-American Spring At-Large Second Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America. The junior from Lake Lotowana, Missouri is an accounting major and carries a 4.03 cumulative GPA.
Miller is a four-time all-Big12 selection in her event finishing the 1999 season with a school record 40-7 performance at the 1999 Big 12 Outdoor Championships for her fourth conference honor. She also holds the school's indoor record, a 39-10 effort she posted this past January.
She is a three-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team Selection, boasts the highest GPA on a track team which has earned 12 consecutive Academic All-America Team honors from the United States Track and Field Coaches Association.
