Columbia, Mo. - University of Missouri starting forward Johnnie Parker has been suspended indefinitely by MU Head Basketball Coach Quin Snyder for a violation of team academic policy. The suspension is effective immediately.

?This certainly comes at a tough time for both Johnnie and the team,? said Snyder. ?But everyone in the Missouri Basketball program is expected to adhere to a certain set of academic guidelines, and when they?re not being met, it?s my responsibility to take this course of action. I hope that Johnnie will look at this setback as an opportunity to grow.?
