Dec. 15, 1999
The Missouri-Iowa men's basketball game, scheduled for Dec. 18, at 12:00 noon is sold out. The last few available general admission tickets for the game were purchased Tuesday (12/14).
It is the second sellout in as many home games for the Tigers. Missouri's last home game versus Indiana, Dec. 7, sold out as well. That evening, Tigers played in front of, 13,782 people, which was the largest crowd to ever witness a men's basketball game at the Hearnes Center.
Mizzou's home contest against the Kansas Jayhawks on Jan. 22, is also sold out. Additionally, next Tuesday, Dec. 21, MU will play its annual Busch Braggin' Rights game against Illinois at the Kiel Center in St. Louis in front of another sellout crowd. There are still plenty of opportunities to see the Tigers play in 2000 in person at the Hearnes Center. Tickets are still available for the majority of the men's home schedule, which includes MU's final non-conference game against Winthrop (Jan. 4), as well as conference matchups versus Colorado (Jan. 12), Kansas State (Jan. 15), Texas A&M (Jan. 29), Iowa State (Feb. 9), Texas (Feb. 12), Oklahoma State (Feb. 21) and Nebraska (March 1).
Tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-CAT-PAWS (or 884-PAWS in Columbia), or by visiting the MU ticket office at the Hearnes Center.
