Men?s Basketball Games Against Indiana, Kansas Have Sold Out

Dec. 3, 1999

Columbia, Mo. - Tickets for the University of Missouri men?s basketball home games against Indiana and Kansas, as well as the yearly tussle with Illinois in St. Louis, Mo., have sold out, as announced today by the MU athletic ticket office.

Sellout crowds are anticipated when Coach Quin Snyder?s Tigers, currently 5-1 on the season, take on the Indiana Hoosiers on Dec. 7th and the Kansas Jayhawks on Jan. 22nd. Additionally, ticket orders are no longer being taken for the annual Busch Braggin? Rights Game vs. Illinois, to be held Dec. 21st in St. Louis, Mo. at the Kiel Center.

?We?re very pleased to announce that these games have been sold out in advance,? said Mario Moccia, associate athletic director for external operations. ?Our goal is to sell out every game, and make the Hearnes Center one of the toughest places to play in the nation for our opponents.?

There are approximately 300 tickets remaining for the Dec. 18th game vs. Iowa, which Moccia expects to be available for a few days. Tickets are also still available for the Mizzou-Saint Louis game to be held Dec. 12th at the TWA Dome in St. Louis. Tickets cost $35 apiece.

Tiger fans still have plenty of opportunities to see the 1999-2000 Missouri team in person at the Hearnes Center. Tickets are still available for the majority of the men?s home schedule, which includes non-conference games against Iowa (Dec. 18th) and Winthrop (Jan. 4th), as well as Big 12 Conference matchups versus Colorado (Jan. 12th), Kansas State (Jan. 15th), Texas A&M (Jan. 29th), Iowa State (Feb. 9th), Texas (Feb. 12th), Oklahoma State (Feb. 21st) and Nebraska (March 1st).

Tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-CAT-PAWS (or 884-PAWS in Columbia), or by visiting the MU ticket office at the Hearnes Center.
