Las Cruces, NM - The University of Missouri women?s golf team finished in 7th place at the Roadrunner Golf Invitational, which was held in Las Cruces, N.M., Nov. 1-3. The Tigers finished tied for 7th place along with fellow Big 12 school Baylor, 32 strokes behind tourney champion Oklahoma State.
Leading the way individually for the Tigers was junior Amelia Moses, who notched her first top-ten finish of the fall season, as she tied for 9th place overall, with a three-round total of 223. She was in 2nd place following two rounds of play, but a final-round 77 dropped her to 9th.
Sophomore Nisha Sadekar, who tied for 6th in her last outing, was MU?s next finisher, as she tied for 28th place overall, while junior Jamie Tucker tied for 32nd.
The tournament wraps up Missouri?s fall season. The Tigers open the spring 2000 season on Feb. 19-20 at the Mountainview Intercollegiate at Tucson, Ariz.
