Columbia, Mo. - The University of Missouri men?s basketball team will hold its annual Halloween scrimmage this Sunday, Oct. 31st, at the Hearnes Center.
The Tiger Night of Terror will get underway Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in the Hearnes Center Fieldhouse, with children?s games, activities and trick-or-treating in a safe environment. The Tiger basketball team will be around to pass out candy to the trick-or-treaters beginning at 5:45 p.m.
Then, at 7:00 p.m., the attention turns to the main floor of Hearnes, where the Tigers will hold their final pre-season scrimmage for the public. Head Coach Quin Snyder?s Tigers will play two 12-minute periods in preparation for their pre-season opener against Global Sports, to be held just two nights later, on Tuesday, Nov. 2nd at 7:00 p.m.
The traditional halftime costume contest will be held between periods of the scrimmage Sunday night, with winners being selected in several different age groups. Columbia GTE will give away 1,000 tee-shirts at the scrimmage.
Admission is free for all activities.
