
Women's Golf Finishes 6th at Indiana

Franklin, Ind. - The University of Missouri women's golf team finished tied for 6th place at the Shoot-Out at the Legends, which was held Oct. 11-12 at the Legends Golf Course in Franklin, Ind.
The Tigers showed steady improvement throughout the tournament, and posted a three-round team total of 919 to finish tied with Iowa in 6th place. Mizzou shot a 312 in the opening round, and improved to a 309 in the second. On the final day of play, the Tigers knocked 11 strokes off that mark, and finished with a 298.
Individually, Nisha Sadekar led the Tigers, notching her third top-20 finish in as many outings this fall. The sophomore from Aurora, Ontario, finished tied for 16th place overall with a three-round total of 225. Sadekar opened with a six-over par 78, but like her team, improved to rounds of 75 and 72.
Junior Amelia Moses was just three strokes back, and finished in a tie for 22nd overall with a three-round total of 228. Moses shot rounds of 76, 77 and 75 to reach her total.
Other Tigers competing included senior Tobi Probst, freshman Elin Ohlsson and junior Jamie Tucker. Probst finished in a tie for 35th place overall, with a three-round total of 233 (78-80-75). Ohlsson tied for 53rd individually, at 238 (80-79-79), while Tucker was tied for 58th place with a total of 240 (86-78-76).
Additionally, junior Jill Rosen competed as an individual, and posted a three-round total of 236 (77-80-79), which tied her for 47th place overall.
Head Coach Tom Loyd's Tiger are off for nearly three weeks before wrapping up the fall schedule at New Mexico State on Nov. 1-3.
