DALLAS - ABC Sports, FOX Sports Net and the Big 12 Conference have announced the telecast schedule for Saturday, Oct. 16, Big 12 games via 12-day notification.
Kansas goes to Texas A&M at 11:30 a.m. (CDT) for the FOX Big 12 Game of the Week over-the-air syndicated contest. ABC Sports carries its 2:30 p.m. (CDT) regional game between Colorado and Texas Tech at Lubbock, Texas. Iowa State visits Missouri in the 6 p.m. (CDT) national telecast via FOX Sports Net.
Television offerings for Saturday, Oct. 9, remain Oklahoma-Texas in Dallas on ABC Sports at 2:30 p.m. (CDT), Missouri at Colorado at 11:30 a/.m. (MDT)/12:30 p.m. (CDT) on the Big 12 regional Game of the Week and Iowa State at Nebraska on FOX Sports Net at 6 p.m. (CDT). Please also note that Saturday's Texas Tech at Oklahoma State game will be played at 7 p.m. (CDT), instead of a 1 p.m. listing in some publications.
Big 12 Conference football telecasts, starting with games of September 25, are subject to the 12-day/six day window network selection process. This means that the conference office will be notified of telecast selections on Monday morning 12 days in advance of the games. Twice during the 1999 season ABC may request six-day selections while notifying the conference on the Monday before the game.
News agencies are requested to refrain from announcing certain game times until final notification from the networks in advance to the conference office.
