Sept. 28, 1999

Louisville, Colo. - The University of Missouri women?s golf team finished in 6th place at the Heather Farr Memorial Tournament, which was held in Louisville, Colo., yesterday. The 15 competing teams were supposed to finish with a final 18 holes of play today, but Mother Nature wouldn?t cooperate, as the final round was cancelled due to snow.

Leading the way for Missouri was sophomore Nisha Sadekar, who tied for 6th place individually, with a two-round total of 147. She was six strokes back of medallist Angie Yoon of Nevada. Sadekar?s opening-round 73 represented a collegiate best for the Aurora, Ontario native. Her 6th-place showing also represented a career best.

Junior Jamie Tucker (Eureka, Mo.) gave Missouri two top-20 finishers, as she tied for 10th place overall, with a two-round total of 149.

Up next for Head Coach Tom Loyd?s Tigers is the Shootout at the Legends, to be held Oct. 11-12 in Franklin, Ind.
