Columbia - The University of Missouri Athletic Department invites Tiger football fans to participate in its Select-a-Seat promotion, which will be held Saturday, August 14th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Faurot Field.

The purpose of the Select-a-Seat night is to offer Tiger fans the best season tickets still available in Memorial Stadium for the upcoming season, in which Larry Smith's club will be going for their third straight bowl season.

Festivities for the event will include special appearances by the Golden Girls, the Mizzou cheerleaders, and Truman the Tiger.

Also making a special appearance will be the 1999 Missouri football team. The Tigers will have a public autograph session beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Fans in attendance will also be treated to free Papa John's pizza and Coca-Cola.
