September 20, 1998 - As much as the Tiger defense tried to stop her, Cal Poly forward Gina Ocegura was unstoppable. Fresh from competiting with the Mexican National team Ocegura scored two goals for the Mustangs in the Nike Tiger Invitational. Missouri had some opportunities to even out the score in the second half, when Erin Grimsley added some offensive pressure. The Mustangs out shot the Tigers 9-6. However, Tiger goalkeeper Jackie Adamec had 6 saves which earned her a place on the All-Tournament Team. Joining her as well, was sophomore forward Nikki Thole.
