March 13, 1999College Station, Texas - Missouri heptathletes Michelle Moran and Jill Aholt started the outdoor track season strong with two good performances at the Texas A&M Multi-Event, Friday and Saturday. Moran finished 12th overall with 4,827 points, while Aholt finished right behind her teammate in 13th with 4,729.

Moran and Aholt competed in the Gold Division of the event, which featured many of the top multi-event athletes in collegiate track and field. Besides MU, Arkansas, Baylor, Tennessee, Kansas, and Kansas State were represented in College Station.

The Missouri outdoor track season will continue next Saturday, March 20 when they head west to Fresno State for the Fresno Invitational in Fresno, California. MU's first home outdoor meet at the Audrey J. Walton Track/Soccer Complex will be held Saturday, April 10, with the Tom Botts Invitational.
