Niki Collier's Journal Entry

Well it has been less than a month of being in college and already we have been through a blizzard, three college snow days, and we are just kicking off the spring workouts. Needless to say it has been an eventful college experience so far! I have quickly learned that being a student athlete is harder than it seems between practice, workouts, class and then study hall - but I love it! Luckily for Jade and me (being the new "freshies" and all), the girls have really welcomed us into the team with open arms and made the transition from high school to college very easy. I can already tell that we will end up being like a family, and I am very grateful for that. Each is very special in their own way and I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone more!
