Hearnes, the Fieldhouse contains a Martin encapsulated surface, 200-meter track with an eight-lane sprint straightaway and multiple runways for the pole vault and horizontal jumps. In its 42-year history, the Hearnes Center Fieldhouse has hosted a Big Eight Indoor Track & Field Championship (1991) and yearly collegiate and high school meets.
